Utah's Highest County Peaks

Many peak-baggers have climbed (or wish they could climb) the tallest peaks on each continent, or in each state...well, here's a relatively new goal idea undertaken by growing numbers of people: the highest peak or point in each county. Doing a person's home state is a challenging yet very doable goal because of the relative close proximity of the peaks to each other. Surprising as it might be, Utah has the highest average county peak height of all 50 states, even Alaska. Utah's average county peak height is about 11,222 feet. Colorado ranks second followed by Nevada and Wyoming (Alaska happens to be 6th in spite of Denali). Since some of Utah's 29 counties share a peak (on the county line), there are 26 different peaks to climb.

The list below is for the highest peak. Some counties have higher points located on a slope.
